Though ledene is not safe for consumption, the sesquiterpene’s light, minty aroma has made it a standard component of cosmetics and soaps. In aromatherapy, ledene is lauded for its ability to boost the body’s immune response and mitigate respiratory disorders. However, ledene is equally prized for its ability to relieve skin conditions like contusions and burns.
