Apigenin – Flavonoid Profile
This flavonoid is commonly associated with an assortment of herbs and vegetables, with concentrations found primarily in chamomile but also in gingko biloba leaf and celery. A natural antioxidant, apigenin is widely used in creams, hair-conditioner and other cosmetic products, and dietitians have begun to recommend the consumption of fruit and vegetables containing apigenin.
